What is CopyGator ?

This is a free service designed to monitor your RSS feed and find where your content has been republished in the blogosphere. We automatically notify you when a new post of yours is copied to another feed, we also build an overview page you can view to see how/when/where your content is being duplicated, quoted or plagiarized. This is an entirely free service and is powered by the feed spidering power of ://URLFAN. Option 1 - Add an image badge to your blog

Simply copy and paste this badge onto your blog and CopyGator will find feeds on your site and watch your content automatically. Click your badge when you install it to go directly to your overview page. Watch for him to change color to red if he detects your content has been duplicated elsewhere in the blogosphere.

Option 2 - Tell us to watch a specific feed

Provide a valid RSS FEED and the CopyGator will create an overview page for you. All subsuquent posts you create will be watched throughout the blogosphere by the CopyGator.

Simply setup your blog software to ping feeds and posts to this address below, the CopyGator will handle adding that feed and aggregating your new posts. This ensures we always have the most current posts to search with.

CopyGator is an online service that can monitor your blog RSS feed and notify you if someone bluntly stealing blog content from you. The service will provide you with an overview page where you can see how, when, where your content is being used.
Each found copy will have a clear side note (i.e. bears a slight resemblance, share many similar elements or is an exact copy) that tells you degree of resemblance to your post
.

There are two ways you can use CopyGator.
    1 – Add your feed to the CopyGator and get an overview page for your blog. You can bookmark this page and check when you need to see if someone coping your content.
    2 – Add provided badge to your blog and CopyGator will watch your content. Clicking on this badge will take you to the overview page. The badge also changes its color from green to red when copy of your article is detected. See sample badge below:
