How To Make Money With Amazon.com

Amazon.com is one of the biggest online shopping site with many things available for both sellers and buyers. We can imagine that you’re not interested in the buying part—you only want to hear how you can make money off of Amazon. Before we start with that, let us just say one thing about buyers—there are a ton of people shopping  on Amazon.com. What does this mean? That you have have a very good chance of selling what you want on there.  Compared to eBay, people have said that they instinctively shop on Amazon and sell on eBay. The difference with Amazon is that everything sold is at a fixed price—meaning the price stays at that amount. One of the best things to sell on Amazon is  books. Whether it’s your self-published books or another publisher, you can ask for permission to sell them if it’s not listed; Amazon is known to have a whole range of books available for buyers to buy, and sellers to sell. If you don’t have books to sell, that’s fine because they also do well in the electronic department, clothing, pretty much in all categories!  If wholesale reselling is your idea here, that is also possible. You can either buy wholesale lots from China or do a drop-ship method.

What is the difference? 

 Wholesalers are those who buys the item first and resell it later; where as dropshippers sell the item right on the spot without buying it first. The advantage between the two is that you make more money when you choose wholesales  because you are responsible for everything and end up earning more profit from doing it yourself. The disadvantage however, is that holding onto real stocks can be risky, and if you aren’t able to sell them off, you’re stuck with it.

Dropshippers do not have to deal with this because they are only required to sell if someone wants to buy that product. Once the product is bought, money is sent to you and you notify your dropship’s supplier and they’ll ship the item to the buyer. It is much easier and risk free if you go with dropship. However, you must pay startup fees and pay a percentage of commission each time an item is sold. By the time that money is sent to you, you must pay the cost of that item plus the commission fee. Thus, you don’t make nearly as much as doing wholesales. Wholesale offers more work but gives more profit; where as you don’t have to worry about much for dropship but the pay is is not good.

One last thing before we talk about that easy MTurk job of Amazon; Amazon Affiliate. Affiliates are what people buy from others. For instance, have you ever recommended a product to any of your friends, and they ended up buying it? That right there is what affiliate is- you simply recommend one or more items on Amazon using your affiliate link. If someone ends up buying through it, you earn commission! You can post your affiliate link on your webs, forum, or where ever you think it is accessible.

Now here is what you’ve all been waiting to hear: MTurk. What is it and how do you make money off of it? This question comes up often; mainly because not much people have heard about it.  MTurk is also known as Mechanical Turk, and it is a market place for tasks that only humans can do because it requires the thought of the human brain-something that computers can’t do.  Some things that you may do in MTurk is write a review for a product or pick out images relating to what the company/person wants. Some of the easiest task will pay you from .02 cents to .10 cents-which may take you from a few seconds to complete. While may not think this is much, what if you were to complete a task that pays you .05 cents but you finish it in 10 seconds? That is $18 an hour right there! If you prefer to do tasks that pay from a few dollars to a few hundreds-yes, hundreds- they are available. Keep in mind though, the higher the pay is, the harder the task.
